INTRODUCTION

Wisman's new MRB series are a family of high voltage 100-280 Watt modules that provide output voltages ranging from 1kV to 140kV.Bipolar outputs in a single unit. The MRB Series is the result of Wisman's exceptional high voltage packaging and surface  mount fabrication techniques coupled with proprietary encapsulation technology producing this ultra-compact module. Wisman's MRB Series of 100-280 watt high voltage power supplies are based on a proprietary resonant fly back power conversion topology that provides over 80% efficiency.   Offering tight regulation, high stability and low ripple, the MRB provides users local and remote analog control to set  voltage and current,  both voltage and current regulation with automatic crossover.The robust design of MRB Series along with comprehensive arc and short circuit protection allow operation in the most demanding environments.  An optional RS-422, RS-232 interface is available.

Output: ±10KV, ±20KV, ±30KV, ±40KV, ±60KV, ±70KV, the highest voltage output is optional, 0V to the highest voltage is adjustable.
Voltage control: inside the power supply: the multi-turn potentiometer can set the output voltage between 0V and the highest voltage.
External remote control: external 0 to 10V control signal can adjust the output from 0V to the highest output voltage.
Inside the power supply: The multi-turn potentiometer that comes with the power supply can set the electron beam current from 0A to the highest current.
External remote control: The external 0 to 10V control signal can set the electron beam current from 0A to the highest current.

Connector:
High-voltage output connector: the recessed insulating conduit and the high-voltage cable are connected by a metal connector with a diameter of 16mm.
Input and output connector: DB9, contains control and display signals.
Remote control of output voltage and current:
An external potentiometer can be used to remotely control the output voltage and current using the 10V voltage reference inside the power supply.
Remote voltage indication: JP4 contains 0 to 10V voltage and current indication signals, which can be connected to various digital or pointer meters.
