freedom of soft materials can be freely changed according to demand, soft robots have extremely high flexibility,
and soft robots have good human-computer interaction performance and safety due to the softness of their
materials. Its appearance successfully solves the problem of insufficient human-machine interaction and narrow
scope of application of traditional rigid robot. At the same time, the soft robot can also complete some irregular
work, which the traditional rigid robot can not do anyway. Soft robots have broad application prospects in medical

Soft robots, as the name suggests, are made of materials that are necessarily soft. It is thanks to its soft materials
that soft robots can have extremely high degrees of freedom and good human-machine interaction. In addition
to softness, the manufacturing materials of soft robots should also have good plasticity and high elasticity.
In the manufacturing process of soft robot, one of the most important parts is the high voltage amplifier. Dielectric
elastomer (DE) is a new type of electroactive polymer (EAP) material which can produce large deformation under
the excitation of external voltage. The DE material used as a driver usually has a sandwich structure. The flexible
electrodes on the upper and lower surfaces of DE material will accumulate positive and negative charges under
the action of electric field. Under the action of electric field force, the DE film will compress in the direction of
thickness and expand and deform in the direction of plane. When the external force or voltage is withdrawn, the
DE material will return to its original shape. In this process, the DE material realizes the conversion of electrical
energy to mechanical energy. Because of its characteristics of large deformation, fast response speed, high
energy density, light weight and low cost, DE material has been widely used in the manufacture of soft robots.
